iFilmers’ favorite stars return on air with ‘Zaferani’

iFilmers’ all-time favorite stars have been back on the channel’s screen with ‘Zaferani’.

The first and foremost name that shines on the cast list of the show is Mehdi Hashemi, whose appearance in the series is of utmost gravity.

He has already graced so many iFilm shows, including ‘Gharib’s World’, ‘Alzheimer’ and ‘Detectives’.

Mehran Ahmadi is another brilliant cast of the series. His presence alone is enough to make viewers to howl with laughter; however, he has proved his acting talent in more serious works as well.

iFilmers know him from various works aired by the channel, including ‘Mehrabad’, ‘The Sound of Rain’ and ‘Until Being with Sorayya’.

Hadis Miramini, who recently brought to life the volatile character of Mehrnoush in ‘It’s All There’ is also among the cast members of the flick.

Two other celebrated names that play in the show are Setareh Eskandari and Mehrdad Ziaee.

‘Zaferani’ narrates the story of a man named Mr. Zaferani and his family, who run a small tea house together. When the man first came to Tehran from Mashhad, a friend of his, Mr. Motamed, gave him his land to work on it, and Mr. Zaferani built the same tea house there.

The story gets its twist when Mr. Motamed dies and his eldest son, Homayoun, claims the place back to build an apartment complex there.

The new screening that started from Friday August 18, has been set to hit the air every night, except for Saturdays, at 23:00 GMT.
